Community Health Worker

Southwestern AHEC's - Be the Change-CT project is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as a Community Health Worker for the Southwestern Region of CT.

Brief Project Description:

Be the Change—Connecticut is a three-year project funded by the federal Office of Minority Health to Build awareness and engage action around preventing and healing trauma as a local, national and global issue.

This Statewide project works with vulnerable communities throughout Connecticut to engage community involvement in learning about resources and the impact of trauma, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on longer-term health outcomes and wellbeing.
