"Be the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi"
The Be the Change Project is an inspiration from a group of Community Health Workers recently trained by Southwestern AHEC. This group built a powerful bond as a community and decided to meet voluntarily to address community issues in Bridgeport.
With the generous support of the 2020 Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation Youth Grant Program, Southwestern AHEC's Americorps members received funding to address hunger with educational modules, so youth, families, and communities can benefit from learning about Fruits, Vegetables, and Vitamins.
